Ultimate Privacy! Have you ever dreamed of being completely secluded in the deep woods of VT? This hidden gem of a property provides complete peace and tranquility and nothing but the sounds and sights of the natural world. The parcel is comprised of 54 Acres by Deed and 64 plus by GIS. Deep inside the parcel at the end of a long winding gravel road, you'll arrive at a compound of cabins and other outbuildings and its amazing gardens, established berry patches and fruit trees in a simply magical setting. This property was lovingly built with countless man hours and hard physical labor to become what it is today. The site was chosen where an old homestead once stood and ties you when there to whomever called this place home a century earlier. The main cabin has the small kitchen with the woodstove a living area, bathroom and attached greenhouse with one large sleeping area upstairs. There is also a cute studio connected by a wooden walkway that also has a small wall mounted woodstove and multiple other sheds and outbuildings. This was developed to be off grid and self-sufficient during the Covid years. All the fruits and vegetables needed to survive those years were grown on site and foraging was a way of life. Now this place provides a unique opportunity for those who appreciate the wilderness and a simple life. Moose, Deer, Bear, Grouse and birds of prey are a constant and are friendly tenants of this land. The amount of effort and overall work it took to create this one-of-a-kind place cannot be accurately described and depicted in words. This place must be experienced to be truly appreciated and understood. There is no septic system at present and thus is not currently a legal dwelling unit/residence, but a Wastewater Permit is in hand with an approved design. There are two dug wells on the property. The main cabin does have an older PV system for power, but the inverter needs to be replaced. 1168 South Wardsboro Road is not a formal 911 address.
